This line was such a welcome departure from the Model T of the previous 20 years that Ford decided to give it a new beginning by calling it the Model A. The Model A was so popular, because of its simplicity and reliability, that now, 75 years later, hundreds of thousands still exist. Chances are that you have one or more, or have an interest in obtaining one.The Model A Restorers Club (MARC) is an international organization of over 10,000 members dedicated to the acquisition, preservation, restoration, and exhibition of Ford Model A vehicles. Membership privileges include a beautiful bi-monthly magazine devoted solely to the Model A. The annual National Summer Meet is a week of activities with the Model A as the common theme. Seminars, tours, theme parties, banquets, games, displays and judging are among the events attended by those interested in the Model A, era fashions, advertising, and history. The Meet is held in a different part of the country each year; the next meet will be the week of June 25th, 2001, inCincinnati, Ohio.The Western Lake Erie Region of MARC is a group of avid Model A?ers in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan area.
